Dec 13, 2023NEW YORK — MedMira has signed a distribution agreement with Maternova for the Reveal, Multiplo, and Miriad lines of point-of-care infectious disease immunoassays in Latin America and the US, the companies said on Monday.
Under the terms of the deal, Providence, Rhode Island-based Maternova will distribute the tests exclusively in Latin America and nonexclusively in the US. The assays include ones for HIV, syphilis, hepatitis, and SARS-CoV-2.
Financial and other terms were not disclosed.
"Our core focus is the development and manufacturing of our technologies and products, and we are delighted to partner with Maternova to access new markets and new customers," Hermes Chan, CEO of Nova Scotia-based MedMira, said in a statement.
